Purple Smoky Eyes look amazing with green eyes, and it doesn’t have to be as harsh as the classic black smoky eyes. Purple eyeshadow really bring out the gorgeous green in green eyes and gives you that very sexy purple smokey eye. Use a soft purple or mauve eyeshadow from a Purple Smoky Eye Kit and cover the complete eyelid from the inner to outer corners.
Then blend above the eye crease till it reaches the edge of the brow bone. Make sure to soften the colour the closer it travels up to the eye brow so it doesn’t create a harsh line when you introduce the new colour. Use a warm cream or white and apply it to the brow bone, make sure to blend it in with the edging of the purple or mauve colour. Using a warm cream or white will highlight the brow bone and give your eye brows more definition.
Add a dark purple to the outer corner of the eye, spread it half way to the middle of the eyelid and slightly over the eye crease. Next define the eye by adding the same dark colour under the eye and on the base of the bottom eyelashes. Make sure the line isn’t too thick. The best way to avoid this is to use a small defining brush and started a thin line at the inner corner of the eye then gradually thicken the line as it gets closer to the outer part of the eye. Extend the color out a bit further to make your eyes look bigger.
To finish the look, use a black liquid eyeliner or eyeliner pencil if you don’t have a steady hand, and draw a thin black line at the base of the top lashes. Then apply layers of black mascara to make them look thick full.
